Describe the action instead of relying on a product name
State at the top of the brief that the product is manually operated. Specify whether it has a palm strap, which surface contacts the face, how it will be held and whether it is sold with a cleanser. Attach an image of an existing Zhongding form or another reference and mark what should stay and what should change. “Make the bristles softer” is not yet a sufficient specification: bristle length and spacing, base thickness and grip can all influence the perceived contact. Compare those factors separately when sampling.
Separate essential requirements from options
Essential points include manual rather than powered operation, target sales channel, approximate size, contact surface, packaging form and logo position. Color, surface texture and set accessories can remain options at the first inquiry. The supplier can then indicate whether an existing form or a development route is suitable without asking the buyer to decide every detail immediately. If the brand wants efficacy wording such as “deep cleansing,” it needs a separate evidence review; an RFQ should not silently turn into a performance promise.
Reduce revisions with a real Zhongding reference

A brand can select one as the baseline and identify whether the desired change concerns grip, contact surface, color or pack. Change only the variables being discussed in each comparison so the team can see which revision addresses the original problem. A reference sample is a communication tool; it does not by itself prove suitability for every target market.
When comparing samples, note each reviewer’s hand size, grip and cleaning action after use. An unstable grip can make the buyer mistake a structure problem for a material softness problem. Separate these questions before changing several design conditions at once.
A useful inquiry could say: “We are developing a manual silicone facial brush for retail. We do not need an electric device.
