Give each surface a clear purpose

Does each side support a different action, offer a different feel for the same action, or separate gripping from contact? If the distinction is difficult to explain in one sentence, it may be mainly visual.

Also check the unused side. Does it press awkwardly into the fingers, interfere with holding or create a difficult-to-clean area? Two attractive faces do not automatically make a comfortable complete product.

Compare the concept with a single-sided sample. If the second surface adds confusion without improving the intended action, the simpler option may better serve the range.

Describe texture without inventing skincare results

Density, spacing and raised features can be described from a sample. Blackhead removal, pore reduction and suitability for every sensitive skin type cannot be inferred from those features. The American Academy of Dermatology advises gentle washing and notes that scrubbing can irritate skin. AAD guidance

A useful purchasing brief describes an observable distinction, such as a contact surface and a gripping surface, rather than assigning an unsupported skin benefit to each texture.

Purchasing scenario: a complicated two-step presentation

Imagine a concept with two textures and a two-step packaging diagram. Sample review shows that both sides perform essentially the same action, leaving reviewers repeatedly turning the brush over.

Instead of adding more instructions, reassess whether both surfaces are needed. If retained, explain their purposes briefly and check that switching sides is practical. This is a proposed decision scenario, not a historical Zhongding customer project.

Discuss the product, not just the texture artwork

Customers can start with Zhongding’s cleaning-product category and discuss the actions and appearance a brand wants to retain. A dual-sided design requires a specific development review; a concept is not a confirmed stock specification.

Approval should establish the purpose of each side, how it is identified and how the complete brush feels in use. Both sides should have a reason to exist.
